OSPRE Nigeria (the "Platform") is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative operated under the Office of the National Security Adviser. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit osprenigeria.gov.ng or use any of our platform services. OSPRE Nigeria does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may also share information with international development partners under the terms of formal partnership agreements, subject to applicable data protection laws. We will disclose information when required by law, court order, or lawful request from a competent authority.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, regulatory, or reporting requirements. User account information is retained for the duration of platform access and for a period of seven years thereafter, consistent with Federal Government record-keeping requirements.

Subject to applicable Nigerian law, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information where we have no lawful basis for continued retention; and object to the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
